Here are the 6 steps to your networking journey:
- Determine who to connect with and why: It’s about building genuine relationships.
- Think about how you can add value: what is YOUR superpower?
- Start reaching out to people on your list: If you don’t reach out they will never know who you are!
- Conduct an effective informational interview: It’s like a first date!
- Provide your value add: show them that you listened and care about them.
- Don’t forget to follow-up: don’t be a networking ghost!
